This Privacy Policy describes how Katalystor ("Katalystor", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account data: name, email, authentication identifiers, role, and account status.
- Profile and business data: company/agency details, landlord or agent profile information, listing and property-related content you provide.
- Usage and device data: app interactions, diagnostics, approximate device and OS data, and analytics events.
- Communications: support requests, in-app messages, and notifications.
- Media uploads: photos/documents you upload for listings, property records, and operational workflows.
2. App Store Data Disclosure Summary
This summary is provided to align with platform disclosure expectations for iOS and Android store listings.
- Data linked to identity: account identifiers, profile data, property and operational data, support communications, and push token associations.
- Data not used for mobile cross-app tracking: Katalystor mobile apps do not currently use mobile advertising identifiers to track users across third-party apps or websites.
- Web analytics and marketing: Katalystor web properties may use analytics and marketing tags as described below.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve Katalystor services.
- Authenticate users and secure accounts.
- Enable listing, landlord operations, analytics, and notification features.
- Respond to support requests and service issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce terms.
4. Tracking, Identifiers, and Consent
- Mobile apps: Katalystor landlord mobile uses authentication, operational analytics, and push notification capabilities. It does not currently declare mobile cross-app ad tracking behavior.
- Web properties: Katalystor websites may use tag-based analytics and marketing measurement tools.
- Permissions: push notifications and certain device capabilities are requested through platform permission prompts where applicable.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
On web properties, we and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session handling, performance measurement, analytics, and marketing attribution. See our Cookie Policy for details.
You can control cookies through browser settings and platform privacy controls. Blocking certain cookies may affect site functionality.
6. Legal Bases and Consent
Where required, we process personal data based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and your consent (for example, optional marketing or push notification permissions).

We use trusted service providers for core service delivery. Depending on product surface (web/mobile) and configuration, providers may include:
- Authentication: Clerk
- Infrastructure and operations: cloud hosting, data storage, analytics, notification, and communication providers that support service delivery.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for service delivery, account management, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes.
Some data may be retained where required for legal, security, or financial record-keeping purposes.

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and users should also protect credentials and device access.
10. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to data portability.
To make a request, contact us at privacy@katalystor.com with enough detail for us to verify your request and locate relevant records. We respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.
11. Account Deactivation and Deletion
Users can deactivate account access in supported mobile app settings. Account deletion is handled in the mobile app account flow where available.

12. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We use appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by revising the "Last updated" date and, where required, by additional notice.
